1:8 Solomon replied to God, “You demonstrated ¹  great loyalty to my father David and have made me king in his place.

2 Tawarikh 32:11

32:11 Hezekiah says, “The Lord our God will rescue us from the power ²  of the king of Assyria.” But he is misleading you and you will die of hunger and thirst! ³ 

2 Tawarikh 33:4

33:4 He built altars in the Lord’s temple, about which the Lord had said, “Jerusalem will be my permanent home.” ⁴

[32:11]  ³ tn Heb “Is not Hezekiah misleading you to give you over to die by hunger and thirst, saying, ‘The Lord our God will rescue us from the hand of the king of Assyria’?’

[33:4]  ⁴ tn Heb “In Jerusalem my name will be permanently.”
